About us and how we work

Village News and Villager is now one publication

During the Coronovirus lockdown we combined Village News and Villager into one new publication which is being delivered to select homes in Perton, Pattingham, Tettenhall, Tettenhall Wood, Codsall, Bilbrook, Cheslyn Hay, Coven, Coven Heath, Penkridge and Brewood.

This means that advertisers can cover all of these areas in a single publication every month. We will still be able to include articles of local interest, although we are limited to how much we can include in each edition. As the advertising grows, so will the editorial space.

We will also continue to publish the magazine online every month in addition to putting hard copies through people’s letterboxes.

For information on advertising rates, What’s On entries and general enquiries please call us on 01694 245040 or 07540 257743.

Kevin & Gillian Arnold

Village News was first published in 1999, followed 12 months later by Villager, to promote cost-effective advertising for local businesses in the villages around Wolverhampton. The magazines are full of articles of local interest and are well-established as a platform for people  to inform the local community of events and concerns affecting village life whilst remaining non-political.

Since their foundation Village News and Villager have become a valuable resource and this new combined magazine and website works to make this information even more accessible across digital platforms.

The magazine is  professionally set and printed on  high quality, 100gsm, gloss-finish paper.
